Very reliable short season watermelon, 75-80 days. Have grown this melon for about four yrs. Usually sets about six melons per vine, icebox size 8-11 lbs. Brix is about 7-8, so melon is low on the sweet side, but good for those who are diabetic. Flavorful, crisp flesh. Last season, planted on July 4, and melons matured before the frost here in Idaho. Had a picnic sized sport appear last year. These melons weigh between 14-20 pounds, all other characteristics are the same as the regular sized melon.
