I liked the taste & texture. Like a melon version of eggnog, quite sweet with nutmeg and other gentle spice notes. Performed well in the field in this warmer-than-usual summer of 2021. Seemed to keep better than orange-flesh melons grown alongside. Easy to tell ripeness, as it develops a bright orange-yellow skin and wonderful aroma. Not much cracking like some other varieties. I don\'t much care for melons but I like this one. |

A delicious melon. It was not as vigorous as other melons and yield were low under 2006 conditions. |
