I have never had such a good tasting melon in my lifetime! It is a heirloom that came many ears ago from France. It is sometimes slightly netted and other times as smooth as a bowling ball. When it is ripe some times you will see some small yellow areas on the melon. It also will turn color slightly. I do not consider this a honeydew type melon and do not understand why it is classified this way. This is my favorite melon of all times!
