I heard this was resistant to squash vine borer, which kills my squash every year so tried it. I love it. Did not have any borers that I saw on the vines. Also had no squash bugs this year. I need to grow again to make certain this was no fluke. This is a vining squash so it needs lots of room. Flavor is better than other summer squash and flesh more solid. I will keep growing this one. I just can't say enough good things aboui this one. Also, for those who like fried squash blossoms, the blooms on these are very large and great for that purpose. I hope more people give this one a try.
