This is a nice looking, very uniform pumpkin. The yield was about 3 pumpkins per plant. My average weight was a little less than expected. The average weight should be 3-4 lbs. The average wieght of my 17 pumpkins was about 2 lbs. 13 oz. My biggest pumpkin weighed 3 lbs. 15 oz. The smallest was 2 lbs. 1 oz. They make great pumpkin pies. I think that they taste as good as the Winter Luxury variety. They were planted against the fence in our garden and still did well. I will plant them next year in a better spot to maximize their yield. The only place I could find the seeds for this variety, ironically, is in Iowa at www.sandhillpreservation.com.
