This is a full season pea, with exceptional yield. It is almost as heat tolerant as Wando, and one of the few varieties of main crop peas that will work in the Great Plains. Flavor and texture are better than Wando, and yield is very strong as it has a triple pod structure. Main weakness is susceptibility to Powdery Mildew. Wando may be slightly better than Sundance in that regard. Only some very early varieties seem to avoid that for me.
