This is an easy-to-sprout, easy-to-grow, and vigorous cultivar. It is a knobby style artichoke softneck garlic from the Tuscany region of Italy. A mature bulb can be 3 inches across on its long side. Plant cloves a full 6 inches apart. Maturity is early to mid-season. Very flavorful, but mild; firm texture. Harvest as soon as it's ready -- the bulb wrappers can stain otherwise. When well grown and well cured, bulbs can store for many months. Mine are doing great 9 months after harvest, and I may run out of stock before any spoil.
