I tried to grow these in Spring 2010. I did not get to taste them. Very few of the peas germinated. Those that did germinate did not mature. After contacting Johnny\\\'s Seeds, they sent me another packet. Their service is great, as always, and their other varieties have done very well, but this could have been a bad year for this variety of snow pea. 2012 UPDATE: This spring I planted all the remaing peas in the package. This time I started them in a planter box with compost and brought them indoors when the weather was cold. This time almost all of them germinated. I transplanted them to a garden bed and this time I got a better yield. They do mature at about the same time. They were sweet and crispy, and not stringy. They are slower to mature than indicated on the package. So it seems they don\\\'t do well in cold wet soil. Perhaps they would do well as a fall crop.
