Not a bad tasting variety but have experienced generally unsatisfactory yields and have discontinued it in the home garden in favor of other varieties like Bavarian, Bogatyr and Italian Purple Stripe.

Great taste after several years we gave up growing this variety because it did not do well in zone 7 south east region
