This one, unlike the experience of another reviewer, has now become my favorite "basic" garlic and replaced German Extra Hardy in this role. Fewer cloves, but bigger and more resiliant in my climate. Of course I still grow both, but I enjoy this one more.

This variety has never produced near as well as the Extra Hardy German. It matures later and isn't as reliable.
