Grows well in WI the size varies for me from year to year, I have read that replanting the largest cloves will produce the biggest bulbs. The flavor of this garlic is hot and more flavorful than most. It yield is strong but size of bulb changes do to growing conditions. I do like the purple color. When properly cured this garlic stores for me up to 6 or 7 months. |

This has done well for me despite my neglect. It was planted last November and not weeded or fertilized during the season yet I had a nice harvest of smallish heads in May and we\'re still eating the garlic stored in a cool cellar. Will replant some of the remaining cloves in a month or so for next year.
Tasty and sharp, stored well and required no attention whatsoever. |

I am a bit hesitant to give this variety such a high rating as this is the first season I have grown it. But results of the harvest have shown a high yielding, good flavored , easy to grow variety. Do not expect storage to present any problems and will update this review if results turn out less than expected. |
