| Good tasty beets. Nice color when cooked. The leaves appear to have been less susceptible to leaf spot than Kestrel. Grew well even in adverse conditions being covered partly by the large swiss chard plants. |

| We had a difficult year between extreme heat and lack of precipitation combined with COVID restrictions, the garden did not get the attention it normally would. We did not get any beets to grow beyond the initial germination phase - I think our bed was overplanted and the Manny cucumber overran the beets. Cannot review |

| Germination wasn\'t great and I had a lot of loss to cutworms early on but what survived grew well. The colour is stunning compared to other varieties, it holds well during cooking. Would highly recommend. |

| They were easy to grow, and had beautiful color. However, they were not as sweet as other red beet varieties I grew. Their leaves did not have much flavor. |

| I couldn\'t get into our garden until late May (due to Covid restrictions) so I started seeds in pots outdoors in mid April and transplanted seedlings in late May. Germination was good, the seedlings transplanted well and grew into strong plants. I was careful to give the transplants the required spacing. Harvested the beets in mid-July. They were a lovely gold color and delicious. The leaves are also good, more delicate than the leaves of red beets. |

| We\'ve grown them in high tunnels early in the season as well as in the field as a main crop and they performed beautifully. These have a lower germination rate than the red beets (but much better than other golden types we have tried), but they grow well in our loam. If they\\\'re thinned , the individual beets can get quite large. Excellent flavor, a bit milder than traditional beets, but they don\\\'t bleed or stain when cut, so that\\\'s a big bonus. The tops are not as large as other beets, but the large, tasty roots make up for that. As long as they\\\'re well-watered, they can get large without even a hint of becoming fibrous/woody. |

| These are a must-grow item for us. Lovely colour and mild, delicious flavour. Unfortunately, germination seems a little lower than other varieties we have grown, and they do not seem to get quite as large. Still, yields are perfectly respectable and the flavour makes it worthwhile. Need to be kept well watered, as all beets, but otherwise really very troublefree. |
