This pea produced, with zero water from planting to harvest. Most drought proof cowpea that I have tried. Vines are small and short, the drought probably accentuated that, but the pods are almost as long as the plant is tall. The pod and peas are typical of a pinkeye purple hull, but are a bit larger. All in all an excellent version of this type of southern pea. |
