Excellent melon. I tried this variety this year and it was my best perfomer. Great yields on
very short plants, because it crown sets. Would be ideal, if you have limited space.

This is the earliest ripening melon that I have this year, beating the icebox types. While it has the color signature of the Charleston Grey, it is round oval rather than long. A crown setting melon that sets early melons at the base of the plant. Size was hampered by by an extreme drought this year, but one of the best tasting hybrids I have encountered. |
