Excellent melon. I tried this variety this year and it was my best perfomer. Great yields on very short plants, because it crown sets. Would be ideal, if you have limited space. A top ten melon.

This is the earliest ripening melon that I have this year, beating the icebox types. While it has the color signature of the Charleston Grey, it is round oval rather than long. A crown setting melon that sets early melons at the base of the plant. Size was hampered by by an extreme drought this year, but one of the best tasting hybrids I have encountered.
