A quick growing kohlrabi with a tender bulb if harvested early. Less woody than the white vienna variety. The plant is worth growing because of it's beautiful color in the garden.

Grows slower in my garden than other Kohlrabi. No disease or pest problems noticed until very late in the season when aphids can get after it.

I like this cultivar a little better than White Vienna. A shade larger and does not get woody quite as fast. Slightly more vigorous grower and hence more reliable.

Easy and good, but not as tasty as some, and can get tough.

When grown for salad greens, good yield at 28-30 days, nice taste and great visual addition to salad, will tip burn, reasonably insect damage resistant.
