Have only grown this variety one year, from direct ground seeding. The two plants produced typical vine sprawl, with 9+ melons. Very tasty, sweet, sweet, sweet football sized fruit, ripening August 10. Waited til the rind turned yellow with a few greenish bumps on the bottom and the attached tendril dried. Will be growing this again....earlier than sugar baby!!! |
