This variety was advertised as heat resistant, and it probably scored a 2.5 out of 5 for heat resistance. However, Fireworks tomatoes are not disease resistant in any way and quickly fall prey to any soil fungus (which can be common in hot soils). Perhaps others will have luck with this variety, but I was not able to do much with them once my plants became infected. Other tomatoes in the same area did fine, so I am pretty sure that the concerns I have with this variety are directly related to poor disease resistance.
