We grew Churchill in 2011 with very good results. They are large plants with inch and a half mature sprouts . We like to harvest all at once and pinch the center of the plants off about September 15Th, and they matured very well. Each plant had a sucker or tiller grow up from the bottom of the plant, but had no effect on the plants or yield.
