Richmond, Georgia, United States
Frost Free Season: 183 - 203 days
Soil Texture: Sand
Garden Size: Large - More than 1,600 square feet (40' x 40')
Sun Exposure: More than 8 hours per day

Have grown this cultivar off and on since the 60's. Good producer of long grey melons that look a like a Charleston Grey from the outside. Dark yellow flesh, that is equivalent in flavor to Golden Honey, Yellow Crimson, AU Golden Producer etc. Not as high quality as Orange Tendersweet or Orangeglo. The light color is useful in Georgia as it does not sunscald like the darker green melons.
