Description: Hybrid. Galia melons are crosses of honeydews and cantaloupes. Vines bear 4.5 to 5.5 pound fruit with a netted rind and a green to ivory flesh. Resistant to Powdery Mildew and Fusarium Wilt Race 0, 1 and 2. About 85 days to maturity. Also known as Galia Melon Courier Hybrid.

Garden Size: Large - More than 1,600 square feet (40' x 40')
Sun Exposure: More than 8 hours per day

Courier will grow here. It is not the most productive melon and taste is average for the genre. To be fair this has been a hard year on melons, others have done worse. Still I did not find Courier impressive under my conditions.
