Produced five jars of pickles (and about 20-30 eaten fresh) from three plants in 6-inch containers, with short vines wrapping around our front banister -- we could barely keep up with how fast they fruited!
Ensure constant, even watering to keep them happy; they wilted alarmingly fast during hot, sunny days but perked up just as quickly after a drink.
Tasty and crisp. Good for refrigerator pickles. |
