The more I grow Norli, the better I like it. It is an extremely fast-producing snow-pea, it stays short and compact - ours get to about 3 feet tall by the time they are done - and they do a good job of staying tender and flavourful even in warmer weather. Production is heavy. I find that once they finish their first round of peas, they will take a break for a week or so, then they will start producing again. This second round of snow-peas is never quite as good as the first batch, so pull them out once they are done the first batch and plant something else. These are excellent for both early spring snow-peas and fall snow-peas. Their short growing season makes them a good pre or post main season crop. |
