Kral Russian grows slowly and without vigor in my garden. It produces turnip shaped roots that are easy to dig in my hard clay soil. Overall yield of Kral is higher than from varieties that grow quicker, but have long roots that I can`t dig because they get broken off in the soil. I haven`t noticed any pest or disease problems with Kral.
