Bay Meadows is the prettiest broccoli I grow. It just has an appealing appearance. It even looks good in summer, when others fall apart. It is productive and good tasting as well. I expect to make this my summer into fall broccoli.

Bay Meadows performed well this spring. High domed heads have good shape and less brown bead is hot weather than less domed heads like Packman. It is very irregular in maturity, an advantage to a home gardener. Started heading 3 weeks ago and some plants are just beginning to head. This variety really provides an extended harvest under my conditions. I would not like it for market, but for home use I prefer the extension. The early heading ones are now producing nice side shoots.
