Description: Dark green, round beans are 5½ -6 inches long, straight and smooth with slow seed development. They grow on sturdy, upright plants need no staking and have high disease resistance to BCMV, NY15, Curly Top Virus, Golden Mosaic and Anthracnose Good for canning, freezing or fresh eating.

A round slender dark green snap bean that develops slowly. Harvest window is almost twice as long as most snapbeans. This has been a hard year on beans, douught and heat came early in May, Savanah has kept pace with Contender. A bit behind Hialeah in yield and plant vigor.
