Description:	F1 hybrid. Cherry type tomato. Vigorous, tall indeterminate plants produce round, crack resistant fruit on small trusses for a long harvest period. All American Selection in 2013. Disease resistant variety. Resistance to late blight, early blight, Fusarium wilt (races 1 and 2) and Septoria leaf spot. About 60 days to maturity from transplant.

Jasper, an F1 hybrid If you need a lot of great tasting cherry tomatoes, producing right up until frost, this tomato is a contender. The plant gets big. You will need a sturdy trellis or support.

This was my first year growing this tomato and I loved it. It was a heavy producer of small red cherries with no cracking issues. The plant is a monster, so needs space. I had branches invading the three cages closest to it and also kept trying to reach across the row to the bean trellis near by. Flavor was sweet and very pleasant. My customers loved them at market as well. It was a pain to pick, but solely due to the size and the huge number of tomatoes. I would absolutely love a slightly larger version. Plants were definitely blight resistant as well and here we are mid October in Indianapolis with a few patchy frosts, and it is still churning out the tomatoes.

This cherry tomato performed wonderfully, even with the dry spring followed by the rainy summer and fall. We had to stake it numerous times, as the yield was so prolific. Trimming out the center of the plant helped to ripen the tomatoes near the end of the harvest.

Robust seedling transplanted in late May. 8 foot tall, vigrorous plants with heavy yield. Tomatoes were small, and thin skinned but not prone to splitting. Everyone who tried them, loved their taste.

On Oct 4, the plants were still producing prolifically and 7 1/4 lbs were harvested from one plant...many in full ripe trusses. More in the ripening stage and still some flowers. The plants have spread over and out beyond the large cages for at least 6 ft. Would definitely recommend tall sturdy stakes and tying in future. Fruits are a nice red color, tender skin (unlike grape tomatoes), not prone to splitting and pleasant sweet tomato flavor.

Excellent tasting and excellent yielding cherry size tomato with good disease resistance and tender skins. A long harvest period and very slow to split. Vines are a bit unruly, but overall, Jasper has been a success.

Easy to grow, abundant yield of small sweet cherry tomatoes. Only issue is they seem prone to splitting.

Jasper Cherry is a large indeterminate plant. Requires a large support and tying. Produces good flavored cherry sized tomatoes for a long growing period. Late Blight and septoria Leaf spot resistant. Crack resistant.

This variety is prolific in its yield. It is the tomato plant that keeps on giving. The plant is also unwieldy, growing by leaps and bounds. Be sure you have enough space for it. Our 3 x 3 bed is too small for this plant. Keep it to two or three main stems from the beginning and it will be more manageable. The tomatoes are sweet and tasty.

Planted two seedlings on May 21. Grew quickly into huge plants. Very high yield. Did not split, however, skin is very fragile so be careful when harvesting and handling them. The fruit is small for a cherry tomato variety.

Plant was very vigorous and out-grew its space. No blights or diseases. Very high yields. Some fruit cracking when picked which was over-come by snipping instead of pulling off the vine. Flavor very good, but not as sweet as Sungold.

Excellant taste and when consistantly water doesn\'t seem to crack like some cherry tomato types. Resistant to LB and septoria leaf spot. Produces early and our group highly recommends this variety. Do keep in mind that plant needs to be trellised and pruned to keep under control.

The seeds for this tomato variety were provided to the CCE by Cornell in conjunction with its Tomato Blight Education program. We had grown these plants in 2014, and were very happy with the results. This year, perhaps due some cold and rainy weather, as well as the fact that the plants were grown in new beds that may not have had enough nutrients, the plants and the fruit did poorly. Five of the 8 plants we put in the garden did fairly well; the other 3 wilted, and were removed. The branches grew as large as last year, although they did not produce as much fruit. What did grow was tasty, and there was no evidence of pests or disease. We are planning to add nutrients to that bed and try again.
