Planted these for the first time this year (2017). They grew well and produce a good crop of large tomatoes, some over a pound. Very slow to ripen - didn\\\\\\\'t pick any until nearly 90 days after they were set in the garden.. They are an extremely firm tomato, more deep pink than red. The taste is terrible, like the worst tasting supermarket tomato you can imagine. Absolutely none of the fresh garden tomato taste. They keep very well and survive on the kitchen counter for weeks if that\\\\\\\'s what you\\\\\\\'re looking for. But, the taste is so bad I would never consider planting these bowling balls again. I\\\\\\\'ve planted tomatoes for nearly 50 years and this is by far the worst tasting one I\\\\\\\'ve run into.
