I changed the rating of this cultivar as with time I found out more information. Although not really scarlet - there is some reddish coloring once the plant overwinters. However it was productive (produces large scallions and divides into about 6 by the end of the season) and has great flavor. They were also very easy to grow, and did much better than all the other onions I planted last year.
