This is my favorite cabbage. I like large cabbage, and this one is - 10 lbs is small for these. They are also firm, store reasonably well, and make excellent sauerkraut. I believe this one is bred for growing in subtropical areas, but it is very cold tolerant as well. For me where summer temps are hot - this one thrives where others quit. But we have a short season and this one sails through the cool Fall as well.
