Even with the problems we had with the squash borer and rodents, this has been a very productive squash. We would recommend this variety, if someone wants to grow this type of squash. Small gardens, however, may have issues with the rather rampant vines. |

Nice compact vine with 2 or 3fruits per vine. Direct seeded in late May and started to harvest 8 inch fruits in the middle of August. Very sweet taste. Unfortunately the yield ended in late August due to squash vine borers. |

The plant grew well under row cover. No problems with insects; powdery mildew started near the end of August. Two large squash produced on one plant. I followed the directions for "al dente" spaghetti squash, but it came out mushy. This is not a substitute for pasta, but it is a novel type of squash. |
