Description: Origanum vulgare. Open pollinated. Perennial herb that blooms in shades of pink to purple from midsummer through fall and provides pollen and nectar that attracts beneficial insects such as bees, hoverflies, lacewing larva, parasitic wasps, and tachinid flies. Use leaves fresh or dried and flowers are edible. About 85 to 90 days to maturity.

Germinated and grew well. Healthy plants, few flowers, so not sure how effective it was as a pollinator. Tasted good.

Only one germinated but luckily it grew well, was transplanted late so stayed small but was healthy. Didn\'t get around to tasting.

Started indoors and transplanted outdoors in late May. Robust seedling became vigorous plants. Pleasant taste. Still growing well in October.

After a slow start in the season the Wild Marjoram grew well and provided a large cutting for drying the herb. I found the flavor fresh to be pleasant, but as a dried herb it was quite mild and almost boring
