This is an old timer that competed with Tom Watson, Stone Mountain and Kleckley\'s Sweet. It had some popularity in home gardens into the 50\'s. More uniform with less bottle nose that Tom Watson, Kleckly\'s Sweet or Georgia Rattlesnake. Slow to ripen and prone to white heart. Taste is very inferior to to its contemporaries and no where near a Crimson Sweet.
