With such a small number of plants, production was not really enough but the handful I harvested were really tasty. Ate them fresh, and would recommend. Easy to grow.

I found the cowpeas intriguing as they grow like no other bean I have ever seen. The fruit sticks up at a 30 degree angle out the top of the plant the fruit is around 7.5 inches long.\r\nThe taste is very different too. I am having trouble finding words to describe it. Maybe a cross between a bean and a pea? I think it is best to eat them when they are dark green.

Healthy bushy plants with average yield. Tasted best when allowed pods to dry on plant and cooked as a dry bean. Beans cooked up fast and were very creamy.
