Huge plants that need significant pruning in order to control it in the bed. Vigorous and productive. No disease evidence even in September. But the two plants grew rather wild and unwieldy even when staked and severely pruned. Not suitable for a small plot. |

Production was not what I expected, although many formed, they did not fill out (I suspect the hot weather) and of those that did quite a few cracked. Usually mature tomatillos have light green skin but at the end these kept their dark green hues despite filling in the husk and were not tasty. Early ones were better. Overall quite disappointing. |

Tamayo F1 Tomatillo Tomatillos grew abundantly producing fruits from late summer up until frost. The plants did well under hot and dry growing conditions. Watered plant through drip irrigation.\r\nMedium size green colored fruit surround by husk. When ripe husk turns brown. |

Good yield of very large, 2"" fruits with a wonderful, sweet flavor. Some very large fruits had cracking. |

Vigorous indeed. Other than 3-lined potato beetle, no problems and high yields. |

Very large fruits. Good flavor. Big, floppy plants even with lots of pruning--should have been staked.. |
