| Large, beautiful plants with huge leaves. The plants do take quite a bit of space, but the yield is good. Some cabbage worm activity on the older leaves. However, it is a good plant overall. |

| Despite an early scare with Swede Midge (I almost pulled them at that point), they recovered nicely and grew immense leaves that were tender despite their size. Made Portuguese caldo verde, yummy. |

| Seeds were sown in June for the Flash F1 Collard Collards. Due to the dry, hot summer weather they were slow to grow. The beginning of October, they were starting to grow with the cooler outside temperatures. |

| The planting in the garden for this report sadly was attacked and destroyed by cross striped cabbage worm. I grew these collards in another garden, with no insect problems. The leaves are large and tasty. Plant is growing well into October. |
