The flavor and texture of this cucumber is one of the best I have grown. I have grown this variety for 2 years. The first year it produced heavily throuout the season. This year it did not do as well. Both years I grew them on a fence. The plants were greenhouse started and planted shortly after the first true leaves emerged. The main difference was that this year was dry early on and very wet later. Drainage is not an issue on my sandy soil. I will try them again this year.

Not a lot of luck with this cuke. Poor germination of seeds was a problem. Those plants we did get had nice fruit, though the vines petered-out early in the season, so the yield was small.

A very fine standard type slicing cucumber. It is notable for having a thin skin and producing a good crop of well shaped fruits. It does best on a trellis or fence. The flavor is just as its name implies; sweet. I like it better than Sweet Success which grows a bit too large for my taste.
