Direct sow germination was poor. Greenhouse germination was great.\r\nPlants stayed fairly small, not large, robust like some other varieties. Flavor and aroma were very good. Loved the fact they did not need constant deadheading.

This was a great basil variety that was fast growing and slow bolting. Not as large leaves as other Genovese basils, but very healthy and uniform leaves that made great pesto, tomato salad and sauce. After the heavy rain and heat, it did eventually succumb to mildew, but it recovered when the weather improved and did not bolt like other basils.

Very poor germination with direct sowing outdoors so tried starting indoors, but still didn\'t get good germination. Plant failed to grow.

Wow! No small herb garden should be without this one. Tremendous germination when sown indoors. The plant withstood all our crazy weather this year. Grow tall and compact. Minimal slug damage early on. No disease seen. Provided multiple pinching offs. Flavor and aroma were superb.

Good germination rate. Grew well but stayed rather small. Great taste and slow to bolt with frequent harvest.

Germinated quickly from seeds sown indoors in mid April. Planted outdoors in late May. Grew well all season despite many hot days and heavy rains. Plants stayed compact and upright, no sign of Downy Mildew and no flowers formed even into late September.

This variety of Basil did remarkably well. It is full, kind of bushy and grows lots of branches. It has had no pest damage and tastes really good. Recent extreme heat and moisture did leave it showing some mildew. We pinch off the affected leaves and hopefully, it will continue to do well.

By the end of July, plants grown in three places were compact, about a foot high. No flowers, unlike other basil varieties grown next to them. Firm leaves, nice flavor. A bit of a challenge to harvest leaves without stems for pesto because the branches are so short.

Has a pleasant peppery taste. Firm leaf. Would make a nice garnish as the leaves are firm. Like the height and shape of the plant.
