Botanically related more to watermelons than cucumbers, immune to bacterial wilt, drought tolerant. Vines sprawl to about 8-10 feet in all directions, don't climb. Loads of fruit but they're small and hard to find in the vines, and must be picked while very young (which means every day), as they quickly become too seedy to be appealing. I have tried these three times, mostly for historical value, and don't intend to grow them again as I can never seem to pick them early and often enough.
