USER ENTERED : Open-Pollenated. Small, around 6-12 inches in diameter, semi-sweet tasting, pink fleshed melons with dark rinds. Produces a very high number of seeds. Drought resistant descendants of a Spanish melon, brought by traders from St. Louis in the late-18th century. Grown by the Arikara Indians of North Dakota. Early maturing and easy to grow. (80 Days)
