This is a pretty and amusing plant, with its little splashes of red all over the green leaves. It is also one of the more reliable and tasty lettuces we have grown. I do tend to look at all the little speckles when I am cleaning it and think there is debris on the leaves though! Holds fairly well in the garden.

I grew 11 different kinds of lettuce last year and this was my favorite. It's easy to grow from seed and produced large heads. It takes longer than leaf lettuce, which is the only downside. The tastes is fabulous.
