This is the first year we planted Simpson Elite, which replaced the Black-seeded Simpson we formerly planted. We were pleased with the yield, flavor and disease/pest resistance. Simpsons don't have a lot of flavor, but this one was a little more on the bland side than the black-seeded.

great in hot weather. never was bitter worked very well in pots.
