Prolific and beautiful squash! Grows great in small spaces. Wasn\'t susceptible to powdery mildew. |

Color pattern is great in good years but inconsistent and disappointing in other years.
More dumpling flavor tha acorn flavor. For the first few, the flavor was a nice change from other acorns. However it yeilded far more than we found ourselves wanting to eat. Given that it was not a storage squash, that became a distinct problem after a while. |

One vine produced over 20 fruit. Amazing! I did use lots of manure. The squash bugs seemed to leave it alone. |

Although Carnival is an acorn type, I think its flavor is way superior to Acorn. It is a good keeper and very ornamental as well. A good Carnival squash doesn't need anything on it. It seems to take a few weeks for the flavor to develop, so if the first one isn't good, try waiting a little longer. |

Colorful squash that could be used for ornamental purposes. Stores quite well, good yields. Quality one year was great and another only fair. |
