My favorite Hubbard. Grows well for me. and size is manageable. Vine borers love it, but will root at every node, so the vine keeps going pretty well. Like most Hubbards, the rind is very tough (takes a hatchet or machete to split it) and has great storage life.

Smaller than the blue hubbard weighing in at 8 - 10 pounds. Very hard outer skin, good storeability and eating quality.
