This is one tough tomato plant. Long after the other plants have given in to the late summer heat or blight, Tropic keeps going. I had abandoned the tomato patch to weeds and drought this fall, but when I went to clear it out in December, I found two tomatoes, one ripe and one green, on a rambling Tropic vine. The tomatoes come early and late, and are tasty to boot.
