Survived late blight! Yield was quite good. Fruit are smallish and thin walled, with very good but not excellent flavor.

We started using Defiant last year. The seeds were purchased from Johnny\'s Selected Seeds. We treated them as a row crop and mulched with straw. These plants are very very disease resistant. The tomatoes are very good tasting and the plants are quite vigorous. All and all a very good tomato variety, especially where late blight is a problem.

Did quite well under extremely wet conditions. Grew 24 plants. At times during hurricane Irene and then Lee they were standing in a pond, but we still got a harvest. Medium size fruit, very tasty. Some yellow shoulder, but I think that\'s a potassium deficiency in our soil. Not particularly early--Stupice was producing 2-3 weeks earlier--but a good main-season variety that is disease resistant.
