We planted 2 tubers at our Extension gardens in potatoes fabric bag and the yield was low and the potatoes fingerling potatoes were small in size. We fried them and the youth really like them said they tasted like French fries when they order out.

Not big producers. Bright blue color. Tasty, but nothing to write how about.

Out of 2 small seed potatos I harvested 7 potatoes. They were beautiful and delicious.

Bought this on a whim. For the first time ever, I planted potatoes in a pot (Big pot, about 10 gallon size. I planted a pound of seed potatoes (too many for my pot), didn\'t really prep them, just crammed them all in the pot. I harvested 7.5 pounds of potatoes ranging in size from golf ball to tennis ball. These were listed as fingerlings at the store I bought them at, but they are much more round than fingerlings and bigger too. I didn\'t have any issues with them as far as diseases or insects. I like the way they taste, although at first I had a tough time eating them because they were SO purple, I kept expecting for them to taste a bit like blueberries. They are the deepest purple I have ever seen in a potato and it goes all the way through from the skin to the center. These were my most prolific of the 5 varieties I planted. I have saved some to use as seed for this year (2021). They are in a cool room next to my other 4 varieties of seed potatoes and the Magic Molly\'s already have sprouts about 2 inches tall on them, the others haven\'t sprouted yet. I like a white potato, because that is what I was raised with. But Magic Molly\'s are quickly changing my opinion of that. They taste good, are striking in color, highly prolific, I had no issues at all in raising them. Works for me!

I loved this potato during the 2015 growing season. Good yield and customers at market loved to roast them. A very pretty deep purple potato.

We obtained some Magic Molly potatoes for the 2015 growing season. We obtained good yield of mostly long cylindrical shaped potatoes, though the smaller ones were sometimes roundish. Magic Molly is not really a fingerling potato--its tubers are too big, but one can suppose the smaller sizes might pass as fingerlings. It has nice flavor and texture when roasted.
