Always grow this variety because, as advertised, it has resistance to late blight, a real problem certain years. Although I gave it a 3 star for taste, I find it every bit as good as New or Early Girl but not as good as Celebrity. Still, a must for tomato reliability.

It came about August 15th in my hoophouse. The ones I got were gorgeous and tasted not fabulous, but good. But when it started cooling down at night (sept 1 in my neck of the woods) bye bye no more ripening. Several other kinds ripened up after that. So it was unique to this varieity.
