very impressive and stays tender to sometimes about 10 inches. Do have to share a story though. I love eating okra and really like it raw as well. I sell it at market as well and had taken several of these that I deemed to big to sell to use as an example that they were still tender. Anyway I had one such pod and bit into it in front of a customer and low and behold this was my first fibrous one of the whole season and I looked like an idiot. Regardless of that i get a huge number of large pods that are still tender and customers love them. |
